Angola Chapter hosts Mussulo Bay field trip
The AAPG Angola Chapter held the first field trip of the chapter on 16th November 2013. The field trip had twenty five participants made up of geoscience students, and earth scientists from local companies including BP, ExxonMobil and Total. The field trip focused on modern wave dominated Barrier Island/Lagoon Systems of Mussulo bay being flow unit analogues for Cretaceous reservoirs of Angola. The trip was planned by members of AAPG Angola Chapter headed by Antonio (Ginho) Ingles and sponsored by Chevron Angola. Tony Lomando and Ray Garber of Chevron Angola, were field instructors.
